Creative fix
Yes, it took forever to figure out, but when I set up my own section, I reconfigured the template so that the Body was 660 pixels and the Sidebar was 0, and that pretty much solved it.
Oh, and the page of blank space I got rid of by jamming the html right slap up against the text with not so much as a return. That and checking "No" on "convert line breaks."
Hope yours can print out okay for you. If not, I printed two copies for Poney.
