Having received invitation from our treaty allies the Imperium of Man, we the Ethereal Council of Dalyth Prime join in welcoming you to CXI, the Adeptus Astragalactica. We hope that you will see the wisdom of being guided by our vision, creating the Greater Good for all races.
Some of you already know our benevolence, and we welcome you back again. Others of you are newly learning of it, and we ask you to consider well what you see here. In order that you should appreciate the value of cooperation with our vision, we will prepare for you a transmission of the significant events that led to the formation of our treaty with the Imperium of Man, and acquainting you with the noteworthy terms of that treaty.
(a side-note: the second "a" in "Astragalactica" is not a misspelling. The neologism was intentionally formed from the Greek words "astragale," meaning dice, and "galaxia," the Milky Way.)
